In Session Six, we take a close look at a return to work program in its first year. TD's Pauline Ashworth will discuss the TD Bank Career Relaunch pilot and how the TD team pivoted after meticulously planning their 16 week program and welcoming their first cohort weeks before COVID hit.

Pauline Ashworth, Human Resources Director - Commercial Bank, Shared Services and Technology, TD Bank

Pauline Ashworth is currently the Head of HR for Shared Services, Technology and Commercial Banking. Her primary accountability is to develop and deliver a talent strategy that builds organization capability aligned to TD’s strategic priorities.

Pauline began her career working in insurance operations. She transitioned to human resources in 2001 while at CIGNA, first as Learning & Development Director and then as Human Resources Director for CIGNA Group Insurance. Following her time at CIGNA, she held HR Business Partner leadership roles in multiple industries, including Managed Services (ARAMARK) and Consumer Packaged Goods (Campbell Soup). While at Campbell’s, she gained substantial experience in change management leading transformation for global R&D. Pauline also has extensive experience in leadership development and executive coaching.

In 2014, Pauline joined TD as HR Lead for Technology. Her responsibilities expanded in 2015 to include Shared Services and in 2017 to include Commercial Banking. She possesses a strong commitment to TD’s diversity priorities, particularly in the development and advancement of women.

Born and raised in Rhode Island, Pauline graduated from Boston College with an undergraduate degree in English. She moved to Cherry Hill, NJ in 1999 and still resides there.
